Clarence Meals is a provider of meals for:
- Meals on Wheels eligible customers
- People with a NDIS plan
- Home Care package customers
- The general public
- Available for all ages
Clarence Meals offers:
- A wide range of meals from three providers - Gourmet Meals; Lite n' Easy and Grafton Meals On Wheels.
- Special diets are catered for and include: gluten free, low fat, pureed and blended.
- Meals are frozen so you can have them available when needed.
- We offer soups, main meals and desserts in our range.
- Vegetarian options are available.
Who can order with Clarence Meals?
This service is for any person in the community who wishes to receive meals home delivered by our volunteers in Iluka, Maclean & Yamba areas. Although meals are available to everyone, you may be eligible for subsidised meals if you have been assessed by My Aged Care.
Clarence Meals caters for anyone who requires support with their nutrition and ability to follow any special dietary requirements. This can be for short periods when you return from hospital, you need a boost, just need a bit of extra support or even if you don't want to cook. Some people prefer long term meal service and the amount of meals ordered is up to you.
Are you eligible for subsidised Clarence Meals?
If you are over the age of 65 years or 50 years and older for Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander people and require assistance in the home, you may be eligible for subsidised meals. Purchased meals are delivered free by volunteers for all Clarence Meals customers and a coordinator will keep in contact with you regularly. Our Customer Service Team can assist with registering with My Aged Care.
